Clinical Overview
Cataracts are a gradual clouding of the eye's natural crystalline lens, leading to blurred, hazy, or double vision. We provide Micro-Incision Cataract Surgery (MICS) and advanced Femtosecond Laser Cataract Surgery (FLACS). The surgery utilizes ultra-precise laser or ultrasound waves (phacoemulsification) to gently break up the cloudy lens, which is then removed. It is replaced with a premium, customized Intraocular Lens (IOL) to restore crystal-clear sight. Performed on the state-of-the-art Alcon Centurion system with active fluidics, the procedure is sutureless, injection-free, and virtually painless, promoting very fast healing.
Advanced Treatment Options & Technology
Your Treatment Journey at SOCH
Custom Biometry & Lens Selection
We measure your eye's curvature and length using optical biometry to determine the precise power and type of the IOL.
Painless Phacoemulsification
A small incision is made, the cloudy lens is liquefied using torsional ultrasound, and the IOL is folded and placed inside.
Visual Rehabilitation
The eye is shielded, and after a brief observation, you are discharged. Vision begins to clear within 24 to 48 hours.
